See, I’m a dental photographer, meaning I work with raw files and a computer 40 hours a week. At some point over the past year, the workflow became overwhelming, almost too much to handle.
So I started to use film instead of digital in my free time, just to slow things down– and it worked.
I had the chance to visit Italy for the first time, and decided to travel with my Canon EOS 500 and a bunch of film rolls. These photographs were taken in the Cimitero Monumentale di Milano, which was stunningly beautiful.
Being there and shooting a lot fewer photos that I would probably have taken with a digital device, made me realize the value of the memories I was creating.
